It is weird lol. But it will be the first fight at this casino unless jermell fights there in march

Place only seats like 3000 max. Probably less when they add a boxing ring

Is the WBO going to allow this unification? They didn't allow Kameda-McDonnell because McDonnell was only a regular champion like Sosa. Or was it because Kameda-McDonnell was PBC?

Why would arum want Walters to draw or lose to Sosa when Sosa is with Russell peltz?

Sosa had signed a co-promotion with Top Rank before the fight. But like I said there is no evidence of anything fishy happening so I can't entertain that. But my thing is why did Sosa get a title fight and stay busy while Walters got set on the shelf for a year and punished for complaining about the money.

Walters sat out due to pricing himself too much early in 2016. He was given the opportunity of a big fight. Sosa probably took very short money to fight Fortuna in China.

Credit to Sosa if he takes this fight, he'll be a big underdog.

But I give him credit...he's in this position because he beat a guy in Fortuna that a lot of people were trying to hype up.

He's willing to take on challenges.

Yea but there was no other fights that could've been made? And he wanted a bigger share of the pot. Lomachenko was getting $850k when it was offered. A year later he got a million and Walters got the same as he was offered the previous year. Before then Walters wasn't one to complain about the money. I think he saw how much Lomachenko was getting and wanted a fairer share. The Corrales fight also broke down over money and so did the Salido fight and the Rigo fight. I don't think guys are pricing themselves out. They see how much he's getting paid and wondering why they can't get more when their ratings and attendance are comparable. And with the case of Salido his ratings and attendance is better.
