You'd need to know the whole story of why he's beating her to make a judgement of what is morally correct. Maybe she's done some vile sick ****. Maybe after you found out what she'd done you'd help him beat the **** out of her.

Men DO NOT hit women. It doesn’t matter if she screwed his friend, called him little wang, cheated, spent his money, etc. if you truly have hate for her then have a home girl whip her arse. But men DO NOT hit women. Only COWARDLY MEN do that.
Unless the woman is trying to kill them or truly presenting physical harm to them, there is no other circumstance where that is accepted in the man world. Well, REAL MAN world.

Bull****. There was a female carer in my town that was physically abusing and stealing from a 90 year old woman. If that was my relative i'd beat the **** out of the carer woman or not. Nothing cowardly about it.
