do you ever use certain fighters as measuring sticks for their division?

for some reason i always think of cotto at 147 and how others would do against him. i always imagine others fighters around the weight against HIM and how many rounds they could go. I think it may just be because he is the kingpin of the division i don't know...

do you do that too?

but i get your point... for instance... hassim rahman is a great measuring stick for how well the HW division is...
