Fedor will participate in Sambo tournament in 10 days from now!

"Fedor said that he wants to participate in Russian National Sambo tournament, so in the end of the month, we are going to St-Ptersburg. We are not taking any pauses and are ready to train and take parts in various competitions" - Aleksander Michkov, Fedor's striking coach.

Fedor is a five time World Champion in Combat Sambo.

Well he's not gonna be GNP'd out. He should win this pretty handily if his eye is unshut by then. He's the greatest Sambo master ever, isn't he? The level of competition isn't nearly as high as it is in MMA. This isn't as dangerous as entering another MMA fight or I don't think he would do it.
