That mandatory was called February 2017... that’s 14 months ago.

The WBC themselves have stated that Whyte is to fight Ortiz for the second mandatory of the division... thus Breazeale is the current mandatory after beating Molina (something that they initially back tracked on and stated it was just an eliminator and not final eliminator after the fact).

How have you made a thread complaining about something when you don’t even know the story?!

This video explains whats going on with the 'Mandatory' and where does that leave Whyte: keep in mind dude is on the scene for Breazeale vs. Molina and was there covering the pressers.

Remember Deontay had to face Bermane Stiverne as mandatory, Bermane was suppose to compete vs. Alexander Pedvetkin in a final eliminator with the 'Interim' belt on the line.

Alexander popped, Bermane became the mando. Then Stiverne stepped aside to let Wilder fight Luis Ortiz, when Ortiz popped dirty that bumped Stiverne up to the mainevent with Deontay, THE PROBLEM seems to be that Bermane agreed to fight Dominic Breazeale and the winner would go on to fight with the champion.

Dillian Shyte was ahead in the rankings but a contract was already signed with the WBC and Breazeale ; unfortunately for Dillian Shyte he would then have to remain active defending the 'Silver' WBC title.

Well thats seems to be the reason, the way I remember it.

Heres a video with the WBC president that dude is referring too.

Edit: LOL! I said PBC president! my bad.

The WBC realized that Whyte was trying to back door his way to a title shot and wasn’t having it. Fight Ortiz and stop whining you ****en PED abusing ex MMA reject.

Funnily enough he said that before the WBC announcement. Almost as if he knew what was coming?

Good video. So Whyte is whining because the WBC is making him stay active and earn his shot. Just like they did with Porter, Garcia, and Charlo. But Whyte is the only one whining

I think it's pure coincidence, and a damn funny one at that.

Regardless, this gets Whyte what he wants.

ETA: It could also be the WBC sending a well-deserved message to Hearn.

Is this a correct breakdown? I'd be pissed too if it was to be honest.
