  • Comments Thread For: Leo Santa Cruz Has Goal of Winning Belts Until 140-Pounds

By Lyle Fitzsimmons - As long as we’re here, let's go ahead and blame it on Manny Pacquiao.

Though, unlike other stories these days in which the Filipino politician plays the protagonist, this one touches neither on bald-faced ****phobia nor maddeningly inconsistent damage control.

This one, instead, has only to do with Pac Man’s penchant for weight-class ladder climbs.

      Nah, too skinny.

He might squeak out a vacant belt at 130 in a couple years if he's lucky.

I would like to make a correction, canelo does not fight at 154 he fights at 155, everyone knows he is the undisputed schmiddleweight champion of the world.

And that's only if Haymon gets him a paid for belt against some featherweight for a vacant title.

I don't think he can go up to 140 even will all the belts. His punching power is not the best at his current weight and will struggle to keep the bigger guys off him.

I actually liked Santa Cruz a couple of years back but am not really interested in him any more. Apart from Mares, he has been fighting bums and when winning calling out Rig LOL

He has an amazing tank on him
