Wladimir lost all of his titles the same year Wilder won his title.

Before Wilder even won his title, Wladimir had already agreed to fight Bryant Jennings on HBO.

With Wladimir unavailable anyway, Wilder's team said that Wilder would make two quick defenses before setting their sights on Wladimir.

Wladimir and Wilder had the same manager and his plan was for them to unify in 2016 after Wladimir's HBO contract had expired. Before the Fury fight, their manager had Wilder do a lengthy interview hyping a 2016 fight with Klitschko, promising the fight would happen once Klitschko was available.

The only reason the fight didn't happen is because Klitschko lost to Fury.

What Boxrec brings to the table is eliminating all bias. Let's just look at who beat who. It's not a perfect system, but it's far closer to perfect than biased fans arguing with each other.

I don't like to speak on "all time" kinds of things because I'm not an expert on stuff before the 80s.

But in my lifetime, Floyd is definitely #1 pound for pound. Beat so many top fighters without ever losing. He's gotta go in that #1 spot. He has a lot of haters, but Boxrec cuts through all of that.
Floyd does NOT beat Duran that beat Leonard.

I would give a kidney to see prime Floyd and prime SRL

I think Floyd could beat Hagler who fought too much for liking...when he shouldve been BOXING and using that 1-2. Need a lot more than a 1-2 to beat Floyd though

Hagler was too big for Floyd

Styles make fights.

In any case, Wilder lost two fights to Fury. He changed NOTHING about his skills or his strategy.

AJ lost to a completely different fighter than the one he trained for. He got ****y and got caught. He learned from it and boxed Ruiz's ass off. This is Boxing of course and not fighting.

And Fury... now he is the best in the world? Wilder fan boys were saying Fury is a bum who almost lost to Otto freaking who? Wallin.

Fury rises up to the occasion and can look really good, or really ****ty.

AJ is a far more complete fighter.

Looking ahead... You now have AJ who can both brawl if he has to and he can box beautifully if he wants to.

Wilder? What exactly did he change? Nothing... and now the script on how to beat him is there for everyone to see... pressure wilder and he will collapse... a Grandpa Ortiz showed it and then Fury proved it.

Unfortunately I think Wilder is too stupid to learn to box and will keep on relying on his power.

What I actually respect the most about Wilder is how much he's achieved based on natural punching talent, stubbornness, killer instinct and athleticism whilst having such a terrible, utterly ****e head coach through all these years.

ESPN.com scored it 114-112 for Wilder

Rafael was ESPN's official scorer, not Kim.
Wrong. Kim was an espn scorer whether you like it or not. Rafael is one of the dumbest people in boxing, no one takes that fat phvck seriously, so feel free to associate yourself with him cause it suits you.

When Fury and AJ fought Wlad they had 24 and 18 fights respectively, and are 3-4 years younger than Beyonce, who had 38 fights around that time. He ducked Wlad for YEARS.

Wlad wanted the WBC belt the moment his brother retired, but they made a paper champ instead and let Beyonce hold it hostage for years until Fury whooped his sorry @ss. There's no reason both Fury and AJ who were younger and with much less fights/experience should've fought Wlad and not Beyonce. That's straight ducking and everyone and their dog knows this yet you think you can lie and convince people otherwise. Pathetic.

Your tears are delicious. Are you still whinging about the imaginary punch to the back of the head, you lying mong?
