          Yea, that's ridiculous.

According to the facts the article presents it's really the casinos fault and/or lack of dilligence, these two players shouldn't have to pay back a dime.

I agree about casinos, I wish I could trust a system to milk them and beat the house, but stories like this make it seem like you can't win.

I am pretty serious about poker for money but I won't go to a casino.

It's all capitalism and greed. You can still make a profit without the house odds they set but they resfuse to make it a more level playing field.

...and a judge upheld the bullshlt. i can understand a casino crying over the fact that they got owned, but a supposed ''impartial'' judge ?!?!? impartial my ass.

level ?!?!? if its not 99.99999999 % in their favor, its not level.

its only a matter of time before casinos deem luck as a form a cheating.

exactly, and they basically are, as the defense attorney put it. If a player can't win using a combination of skill, intelligence, and the little bit of random/luck involved, then wtf do you have left?

The odds are mooooore than enough in favor of the house as is, moreso than it should be imo.

Yea but as an avid gambler myself, not all gambling is equal.

The odds at casinos are basically the worst.

Things like sports betting, casino games played for cash, trading, etc have better odds if you know what you are doing. Plenty of people make a living doing day trading etc and that's essentially the same thing. There are books on using the same methodologies to profitize.
