I really don't understand why Pacquiao was not considered as the previous lineal in WW when he defeated the number 2 on his division back then. Pacquiao achieved it in traditional way and he deserves it by defeating all of the top welter during his time except Floyd

It's hard to take Ring Rankings seriously after GBP bought it. Extremely bias to GBP fighters and giving higher ranking to their fighter's competition.

and no, Manny did not beat " all of the top welter during his time " ..... there was a run of top (#3) welters and Pac did not fight any of them..... Mosley, Ortiz, Guerrero, Maidana..... even Berto was ranked #3 early in Pac's WW campaign

and no point in rubbishing guys like Guerrero/Ortiz..... because Freddie Roach admitted that Guerrero laid hands on Pac during sparring, and he described one of the Ortiz/Pac sessions as..... "the best sparring, EVER"

at welter, Pac only really fought Top Rank in-house opponents, and many of them were JWW's..... like Algieri, Rios, Vargas, Marquez..... Mosley was old when Floyd fought him, despite the fact that Shane was ranked #1 at welter..... but he was clearly shot when Manny fought him

Pac did not fight any of those #3 welters other than Bradley..... but Floyd fought - and beat - all of them

and before you go nuts about Bradley..... why did nobody ever mention Mayweather/Bradley, EVER?

Bradley became top welter when he defeated Marquez and competitive against Pacquiao in WELTERWEIGHT. Yes all of them are small welters but all this happened in WW division, so in the end they are top WW fighters.

Most of the fighters you mentioned are not top WW and their rankings came from Ring-GBP Joke Rankings LOL
