  • Novak Djokovic 2015 vs Roger Federer 2006...who wins?

Djokovic is completely dominating tennis at the moment. He became a beast in 2011 but in 2015 he has taken his game to a whole 'nother level. Djokovic is simply scary good.....so who would you favor to win this version of Djokovic or Federer when he was at his best 2006.

    Federer in 2006.

    Why?

He played the best tennis ever seen on a tennis court and he still had a lot of decent competition around at the time. Djokovics competition right now is definitely poor. Federer is 34, Nadal is clearly past his best, Murray hasn't really looked good since he won Wimbledon 2 years ago, Wawrinka is really inconsistent and no one else in the top 10 is that good.

Federer from Wimbledon until IW 2007 played some of the best tennis ever. Incredible shot-making ability. I think Djokovic is VERY well-rounded but Federer is able to beat him and has proven that throughout the years. Even at age 34 he is able to beat him, obviously Djokovic is the favourite at this point.

It can't really get much better than peak Federer, the guy hardly broke a sweat and was beating better opposition than Djokovic is today.

FYI, the competition wasn't too strong after the Australian Open that year too. End of 2009/beginning of 2010 was AWESOME in terms of who was about and players who were in form. Davydenko was playing some of the best tennis I have seen for a short time and was beating everyone until Federer put on one of the best performances of his career to beat him (it had to be that good).

Nadals serve was dangerous at US Open 2010 though!
