The Internet has ended alot of rational discourse.

Used to be you discussed politics with people face to face. Thus people usually had basic respect for each other and debated the issues and facts.

The Internet allows people to curse, threaten, demean, insult, etc others with differing political views because they know they won't ever have to face them in person.
