This match up needs to happen
It would be amazing to watch for anyone who loves to see boxing in its purist form, if you like a bit of action it wont be for you though I'd love to see it personally.

Rigondeaux´s record purse was 750.000$ against Donaire. So 1 Mio $ is totally fair because its Lomachenko and a fight between 2 P4P Top 10 fighters.

Donaire was a bigger name than Lomachenko. Don't be ridiculous. Rigo wad also with Arum at the time.

Top Rank's job is to make sure Lomachenko is paid and turns into a star. Fighting Rigo doesn't help Lomachenko in either regard. Rigo doesnt sell many tickets, nor does he bring many viewer ratings.

Top rank pays Loma good because he's an investment to them.

Rigo should accept $500,000 if it's offered to him, otherwise, good luck getting paid much again. $1 million is ridiculous to demand for a fighter because it's not coming out of your pocket. Top Rank could probably pay $1 million (split in half) to get two top 130 opponents in the ring with Loma. Just look at Rigo's past few fights, and his purses He made like $120,000??? his last fight for God's sake.

            It's not a casuals fight!

If you are a true casual you have only heard of Klitschko >> and you still don't know he has retired, Joshua>> and you think he is the best fighter because he weighs the most, and Mayweather and Pacquaio and you can't understand why they haven't rematched yet. You have no idea they even fight below welterweight ergo you have never heard of Ligo or Roma. You have heard a few people mention some GGG guy and there is now some talk about him fighting cinammon but you'd rather watch a good scrap like Mayweather and McGregor because your workmates told you Mayweather will get kicked into oblivion.

LOMACHENKO-RIGONDEAUX NEARLY DONE FOR DECEMBER 9 AT MSG?
                    By G. Leon

********** has been informed that pound for pound Picasso Vasyl "Hi-Tech" Lomachenko will return to the ring on December 9 against fellow pound for pounder and two time Olympic gold medalist Guillermo Rigondeaux. If the first fight in the history of boxing between two time gold medalists is finalized it will take place at the theater in Madison Square Garden, where Top Rank already has a hold on the date. If for some reason the Rigondeaux fight isn't finalized, expect Lomachneko to face Orlando Salido on the same date, but in a different venue. Both Egis Klimas and Bob Arum were unavailable for immediate comment. Remember where you heard it first!
