Jesus - he'll be in overnight and all day tomorrow doing all sorts of scans and tests.

But pretty sure NY requires fighters to have insurance anyway - so he'll be ok.

And if by chance there's an expensive co-pay, well hopefully he can redirect any funds donated to himself.

VERONA, N.Y. Curtis Stevens' handlers indicated early Sunday morning that the middleweight contender is OK following a devastating third-round knockout loss to David Lemieux. Lemieux's left hook knocked Stevens unconscious Saturday night at Turning Stone Resort Casino and forced emergency personnel take Stevens out of the ring on a stretcher. Brooklyn's Stevens (29-6, 21 KOs) was conscious as he was leaving the ring and was responsive about an hour later at a local hospital.
