not only is lopez vs alvarez a mismatch no one will be watching it

We'll find out how the gate does. Golden Boy going to have to do one hell of a promo job for that fight.

No reason they should have stayed on the 9/15 date.

Molina vs Canelo on CBS would have been ideal

and what's with this historic rhetoric about? the best thing about the card is gonzalez vs de leon which is a good fight but not really groundbreaking stuff

They tried to put on something good... three times really. so at this point, why bother going all out when they should assume they are going to lose on this anyway?

cut your losses, and try to do this over again next time. having 3 opponents being forced to drop out doesn't happen often

                he is a stubborn man

foolish pride is keeping him from making a wiser decision

This fight has history in it alright,a undeserving 140 pound fighter loses at 140 and gets 2 title shots in a row in 2 different divisions.

Do you really think having the fight on 9/15 is going to hurt Oscars pockets? Or hurt GoldenBoy promotions? Its on CBS so it will still do big numbers, but the main reason its being done is because its a big F-U to toprank. DLH could care less if they dont make any money off it. They are just a a pissing match with TopRank.
