Why? He got up at 5.5 seconds?? He walked fine and even danced a bit.

Yes, you are right. Every extra second the ref delays the fight is recovery time for Fury. The famous Dempsey Tunney long count was no where near as long as this long count. That dumb ref saved Fury from a KO loss.

I dunno what you were watching. Not only was it a slow fount but the red delayed counting and he even checked on Fury like he was gonna wave it off instead of counting.

Ref picked up the count at 4, Fury starts getting up at 6 and is up before the count.

He doesn't use the ref to get up, he put his hands on the ref to show he was ok to go. He did it on the first knock down. He shouldn't touch the ref but it wasn't any aid to him.

I've seen Reiss send the fighter for a walk before. He did it twice in this fight and he did it in the Charlo/Trout fight I'm sure.
He also often gets them to raise their hands above the head and walk towards them (Campbell, Arreloa).

                  2:21 Fury hits the canvas.
                  2:15 Fury is getting up
2:12 Fury is up as the ref is counting 9.

Time to get put on ignore.

I replayed it several times on the DAZN recording. Exactly 10 seconds from the moment Fury hits the canvas to the moment he was standing upright in front of the ref.
