Both are very good.

A few years ago I would have said Spacey. I liked his performances in The Usual Suspects , American Beauty, K-PAX and Se7en.

I remember when I read that Pitt was going to play Achilles in Troy I thought "oh no, he's the wrong person for the role" but he pulled it off very well. Since then I've had a lot more respect for him as an actor.

Pitt was also very good in movies like 12 Monkeys, Meet Joe Black, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford and Kalifornia.

I thought Pitt gave his worst acting performance in Troy. He gave a very cartoonish portrayal of Achilles.

I like a lot of Pitt's films but Spacey is the better actor

lmao @ people talking about Pitt's resume. He gets to be in those great movies, BECAUSE he's good looking, and he fits a certain demographic, and look for those movies. That doesn't mean anything.
