It actually doesn't happen every time. Kovalev wasn't called overrated for losing to Ward.

Wlad wasn't called overrated for losing to Joshua.

Pacquiao wasn't called overrated for losing to Mayweather.

Bradley wasn't called overrated for losing to Pacquiao.

The lose of Rigondeaux-Lomachenko won't be called overrated.

RG is being called overrated for good reasons.

How is a future.HoF and a lowerweight Atg with a stacked resume and a former 4 division world champion overrated? We've seen this before so many times and people got hard because they see a fighter they hate go down.

You say he has a stacked resume.

Please name his 10 best wins.

Don't think he was overrated. He just mentally was not there for this fight. Choco looked more concerned with headbutts than anything else.

Cuadras, Estrada, Viloria, Yaegeahi, Arroyo, Takayama, Fuentes, Niida, Sosa.

These arent the resume of an overrated fighter. Infact Gonzalez has a better resume than Rigo and Lomachenko.

                Viloria? Sosa? Fuentes? What?

Yaegashi retired right after that fight, he was old.

                Arroyo is a great win?

You mentioned 9, and this is piss poor resume to be honest.

This does not look like a HOF resume. Didn't even beat Cuadras in most people's eyes, it was not a robbery, but not a sure win. Estrada win was controversial as well. The best names on his resume are controversial.

A page out of the Mayweather critics book:

How many prime Hall of Famers did Gonzalez beat?

How many prime All Time Greats did Gonzalez beat?

If that's the case then his resume isn't all that great either! You might want to actually take a closer look at his opponents before you make that claim!

4 divisions is kinda overrated when you move up only 10 pounds. That's 2.5 pounds per division bud. Not hating on Choco, he's a very good fighter but that 4 division stuff is some hot baloney.
