      Keep up.
The OP mentioned the killer in Orlando too. Keep up. I don't know why it matters if the guy who was arrested was Muslim or not, he didn't kill anyone.

Stealing is illegal - yet people still steal. Let's make stealing legal because the law isn't 100% effective.
Killing is illegal - but it happens, so let's make it legal because it happens anyway...
That's pretty much the gist of your "logic" when it comes to gun control

Having certain gun regulations in place isn't meant to prevent 100% of gun related issues, it's to help reduce them. Isn't the average 1 mass shooting a day? How can you not want to do something about it?

lmao so it doesn't matter because he didn't kill anyone? Why did he have 3 assault rifles there with him? Was it for the lulz? Or does it not matter because he wasn't Muslim? He obviously would have gone to town at the parade, it doesn't take a genius to figure that out. Thank **** you aren't working in security, you're far too naive.

the CDC was banned for years from researching gun violence
this is a federal body designed to research and publish regarding matters of public health. they were "unblocked" after newtown. we even have names for our f#cking babykillings. this has got to stop. can't wait until it does.

here's an article from the washington post about the brief history of the ban, and steps that are still being taken to block research into gun violence in the states.

            https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...two-years-ago/

the CDC knows damn well what it's going to find if it researches gun violence. guns are a preventable public health problem. that they're damaging can easily be demonstrated. that gun control reduces gun violence can easily be demonstrated.

it's afraid of another "shot across the bow by congress on part of the NRA." that's a direct quote from a former director at the CDC named mark rosenberg.

I guess that's what happens when you put corporate interest ahead of public safety. That NRA has some serious cash.

So now we're accusing people of crimes that they haven't committed? That's what this country is becoming? This guy's intentions haven't been made clear at all yet. No matter what you wish to believe, only one person massacred dozens of people this weekend, and he was a dirty Muslim.

                    The guns aren't going away.

Voting for Hillary isn't going to make them go away.

The dream child scenario of some of you fruitcakes of a militarized action to confiscate American citizens guns isn't going to make them go away.

The homicide rates of the mid and late 80's and early 90's were off the charts.

                    The guns didn't go away.

There isn't going to be an all out ban to make the guns go away.

There are 300+ million firearms in this country, with a pretty steep history of violence, and an ingrained love of firearms.

                    It's a blessing and a curse.

Actually it turns out the guy who was arrested is bisexual and has a boyfriend, and was on his way to the parade just to be a part of it. Good thing you aren't working in security or any type of law enforcement, you jump to conclusions without any evidence and assume way too much.

This guy was on his way to the parade to dance around in his little gold speedo with the rest of his gay friends, and you were assuming he had the same intentions as a gay hating Muslim who killed 49 people. I hope you feel as stupid as you should right now. Do you liberals get paid to deflect the issue from Muslim terrorism, or is it enough to get that warm fuzzy feeling in your heart when you feel like you're being a good little liberal sheep?
