I disagree. Rios is a great brawler. He hits hard with both hands and he takes a hell of a punch. He has great stamina and he is game as hell. He is not a good boxer. Pacquiao had no trouble winning every single round from Rios by a wide margin. There were zero close rounds. Pacquiao clearly won all 12 rounds. I see no reason why Mayweather would not win most of the rounds if he fought Rios. Mayweather might win every round. It wouldn't be a hard fight for Mayweather. Mayweather is far to clever and skillful to have much trouble defeating Rios.

Rios has one plan only, to plod in and brawl. The reason Maidana troubled mayweather so is because he has a nice jab and variety of attack. and faster feet than rios. He can box and he can bang. Rios has nothing close to that level of versatility and gets his ears boxed off by Floyd. I think Maidana puts him to sleep, honesty. Career ending fight for Rios.
