So whatever he said in the past is irrelevant now.

Look, i'm bringing up a valid point and i'm not trolling anywhere. What is **********?Originally posted by jmrf4435 View Post"But yeah I'm offended that if a fighter of any other ethnicity acted the same way, he would be handed his walking papers. "
This is my exact point. Its just a bit mind boggling
Sure, B-Hop made some outrageous statements pre-fight as he always does. It all goes with the B-Hop persona and for the most part, even though he may have a valid point when elevating race relations and exposing its faults -- He is often doing so with a selfish agenda as motivation.
And that is wrong!
So, if you were to raise the issue of B-Hop and others incorrectly using faulty race relations for personal selfish gains, I would applaud the effort. But, your methods would have to be genuine also, and not motivated by or presented in a tit-for-tat fashion. Blacks unfortunately, have a historical claim to subjugation, while "whites" have been on the other side. Therefore, no white boxer could ever raise the issue of racial injustice, because it would be judged as invalid due to the lack of historical reference.

BHops comes out with some s#it sometimes but anything he's said pales in comparison to the virulent racist bullsh#t I see on boxing forums everyday from both sides.
If you wanna start a campaign to clean up racism in boxing, get in touch with the mods or write to your Senator / MP / whatever your elected representative is called where you come from.

And I'm guessing by your knee-jerk reaction without a single thought, that you couldn't even comprehend the following:

Typical Thread from this Forum and of course it will spin out of control and get disrespectful but instead of closing it this thread is STILL OPEN!
Best Boxers Win Regardless of Race, Religion or Nationality!
B-Hop has shown nothing but respect to Kovalev after defeat and been singing his praise, but yet of course and really ONLY ON THIS FORUM, people trying to start Race War based on a Russian guy beating a Black AmericanLast edited by sicko; 11-09-2014, 07:29 PM.

Slavery is not specific to Africans. Many other ethnic groups including Irish, Jewish, Greek, and Armenian have been enslaved throughout history. The white man did not invent slavery. History of certain peoples should not be a catalyst to justify Injustice. Please don;t try and claim you know history when you dont!! thanks!!
The reasons of those groups above aren't the same nor do they have impact today!
