I know, Wilder isn't really at that same level as the Povetkins, Whyte, Parker and so on.

He has been hyped and he has surrounded himself with yes men.
The hype fooled guys like you who can't really discern a boxer from an average dude with a decent dig.
And the yes men actually fooled Wilder himself.
He needs to build his profile by fighting some of the guys he has been ducking, or try and hone his 'skill' against the likes of Gorman, Hughie Fury etc and see if he can beat those guys. He's not ready for top 5 types yet.
