          thanks bro...rae is really sharp, he pretty much counters everything and is very hard to hit clean. This was the week before he won the southeast region. he was working on things. Not full speed spar but some work for the champ.

          he will probably turn pro in a 3 years.

          I'll be helping coach J around the gym as an assistant but I love getting in the ring.

                  You did pretty good in there against a regional champ!

                  Here's a tip when fighting slick jabbers/counter punchers that I learned from sparring: every time they throw a jab hop on 'em and throw triple jabs and follow up with the right hand. They usually can slip one or two punches in a row but rarely a third and once you find them with that third jab the right hand hits all by itself practically.

                  Makes them think twice before they jab and/or counter.

                  If that's not your style thats cool. It worked for me because I was a very come forward type of fighter.

                    Rae is hard to hit clean. He uses the shoulder roll a lot. The only thing I could consistently land was a stab jab or counter shots.
