People really got the whole "free speech" and "free country" thing all wrong. Some of y'all think it means you can say whatever you want, whenever y'all want.

Sure you can say whatever you want at your own home, or out on the damn streets, but if you think it applies to EVERYWHERE then you'd be sadly mistaken.

they are trying to conduct business, if a jackass hurts that business by ruining its reputation the people in charge get rid of said jackass.

the country being free has nothing to do with it. if you are running a store for instance and some moron ran around yelling "n/gger" to people you would have to get rid of him. this is no different.

i wasnt buying the fight to begin with, but if i was i would have changed my mind over this, not wanting to give my money to scumbags like the garcias. if others who were going to buy the fight feel the same way that is hurting dibella and haymon pockets.

UPDATE: The New York commission released a statement to Yahoo Sports condemning Angel Garcia’s words.

“The New York State Athletic Commission does not in any way condone or excuse Mr. Garcia’s words and actions,” it read. “Angel Garcia is not a licensee of the commission and therefore is not subject to its jurisdiction at this time. In the event Mr. Garcia pursues a license with the state athletic commission, this incident and all relevant information will be reviewed and this matter would be revisited in that context.”

Sounds like the NYSAC will be taking Angel's behavior into consideration when he applies to work the corner on March 4th.
