The Chinese government could generally care less about the well being of its own people, much less the environment. Sad to say, but even if the US started implementing environmental reform, many developing countries, who have been traditionally economically screwed by the first world, couldn't care less how much damage they're doing as they finally get ahead.Last edited by Miburo; 07-26-2012, 10:07 PM.

With the last one happening in 1889, this event is right on time,” says Lora Koenig, a Goddard glaciologist and a member of the research team analyzing the satellite data.

What about the loss of biodiversity? What about the hole in the ozone layer?
What about the "island" of garbage the size of Texas in the Pacific? (ocean currents have carried much the garbage dropped into the ocean to one area of the Pacific)
