Yes, it goes to the lawyers, but that means Trump received $300k+ in legal fees for free as opposed to his paying for them.

So in essence, Trump received those (expensive) services for free as opposed to the money coming out of his pockets.

The main outcome however is that Stormy Daniels loses so in a way it's a 'moral' victory for Trump and it's certainly a financial loss for her
