50/50 but I’d lean towards Tyson because I just don’t see wilder landing his straight right, to beat a shorter crouching pressure fighter who had very good head movement like Tyson you have to have a good uppercut james tillis tony tucker buster douglas all had good uppercut Holyfield Lewis too had great uppercut wilder’s only great punch is his straight right his other punches are so so.Last edited by jabbbbb; 08-20-2020, 06:38 PM.

80s 90s boxers have actual skills. Tyson has power but he had skills to be effective at 5'11" fighting much taller guys.
Not sure if prime Wilder can adapt to the bob and weave of a prime tyson. Wilder is easily outbox by lesser boxers.

Who would win in a fight?
He the WBC TBA champ only fought the diminished mentallyill Fury as a supposed soft touch and got torched.

Probably Tyson.
I say probably (or even likely) because 1998 Tyson did not fight any good competition. Larry Holmes was old and Spinks was a lightheavy at best. A year earlier, James Smith and Tony Tucker took Mike the distance. So, could Wilder could have taken Tyson the distance? Yes. Could he have landed his right a few times? tricky question.
