Even Lennox couldn`t stop Tua. Tua had a hell of a chin. Maybe easy to hit, but his chin was made of iron.

Wilder has knocked down every fighter he's faced as a pro and stopped all but 2. Tua is also a lot smaller than most of them. He would have got badly stopped.

Wilder never stopped anyone with a great chin. And Tua certainly had a very great chin.

Wilder hits a lot harder than LL

That's speculation, not any kind of fact

Time has been kind to the legacy of Tua it seems.

I don`t think so. Even old Stiverne survived 12 rounds in first fight. Wilder couldn`t even drop Duhaupas, a hw with solid chin.

There is zero chance Wilder would stop somebody like Tua.

Tua would be on par with the Takams of the divison, in fact I'm not convinced he could be a prime Takam. He would struggle against guys like Kownacki too. Too small.

-Jeff Wooden was able to outbox Tua, he was able to keep him at bay with the jab and box from outside.

-Chris the "light heavyweight" Byrd out boxed him.

-Rahman dropped him (wasn't counted but it happened) and went the distance with him.

Tua was really short & easy to box from range, he was like a lesser version of Pedvetkin, but nowhere near as effective against rangy guys.

i think it speaks more to the fact the top HW's of today are just not very good as opposed to Tua being some kind of legendary monster..
