Default What if Wilder-Fury 2 isn't next?

Who should Wilder fight?
I think it's safe to say that neither guy truly wants the rematch.
Wilder will touch Fury sooner in the rematch.
Fury will box Wilder's ears off for a few rounds.
I don't see Arum or Haymon risking their fighters' marketability.
There's Joe Joyce, Kownacki, Jefe, Ruiz or AJ, or Dubois on the radar.
The heavyweight division will explode in 2020.

neither guy wants the rematch yet wilder truly pursued it while fury ran to arum and espn with arum fully admitting they are delaying the rematch...yeah i guess neither guy wants it huh? LOL...get real

i think wilder has shown that getting "outboxed" for a few rounds doesnt deter him from doing what he does

If Wilder/Fury 2 doesn't happen then one expect Wilder to fight the winner of Ruiz/Joshua 2; That is if Andy Ruiz is the winner. Wilder has two career professional goals; To become both the lineal and undisputed heavyweight champions of the world.

If that is not possible, then he can fight a roided up Dillian Whyte in a voluntary defense if he leaves Eddie Hearn and Matchroom. Then there is Adam Kownacki, Joe Joyce and Oleksandr Usyk if he moves up to the WBC's mandatory challenger status.

Fury didn't want to get robbed again on another PBC card. This time, Fury is the A side. Wilder won't have his corrupt judges to bail him out this time.

I'm pretty sure that Team Fury has some misgivings of Tyson Fury entering into that rematch being partially blind in one eye. That is the last thing they would want.

If Fury so much as sustains an additional gash or reopens the old ones over his eye in training, then I can see the fight being either postponed or cancelled.

Of course he is, he's more well known than Wilder and is backed by ESPN, a far bigger organisation than PBC.

Fury is confident, he's already beaten that bum despite not being fit. Fury will shut him out this time. Easy work.
