The Browns need to dig themselves out of a hole, can’t do that with a less than marginally talented QB who hasn’t played in years.

Kap would've been better than what they had in 2017. Then again, if they had Kap and won some games, they might not have gotten a chance to draft Mayfield.

A QB that won his division twice , beat Aaron Rodgers twice in the playoffs and almost won a Superbowl is overrated?

            Ok. Next.

Simple math: dissing the flag does not = "Patriot".

...... more simple math: Kap was never really that good in the first place. (and I'm a Niner faithful)

Mark Sanchez' 1 st 71 games
                    14,510 yds 82 tds 80 ints 37w 33l 149 sacks

                    Kaep's 69
                    12,271 yds 72 tds 30 ints 28w 30l 171 sacks

Both were products of great defenses

Both were 4-2 in the post season
Kaep had a lil more passing yds
Mark had more td's and less ints

Kaep's only real edge was his mobility and never being victimized by a butt fumble.

His last two seasons were disastrous. Teams figured him out and running QBs rarely see longevity in the league. Making the super bowl doesn’t make you a great QB. He hasn’t played in two years and he is a toxic presence for any team.
