Lord, some of y’all are straight up, 100%, bonafide d*ckriders
Well, you call other people dickriders but don't criticize Wilder and his team for their weird social media and "no reason for a meeting before you accept" tactics.

    So who's the dickrider?

To do a pro job o promoting and marketing this fight, it is not unreasonable (or unusual) to have 12 weeks lead time.

It's not even being used as an excuse anyway, all that was said was Wembley will be out of the question because of time of year, and that would mean Cardiff as the roof closes.

We're also talking about booking a ****ing stadium, NOT a picnic spot. Simple minds don;t wonder things like "Is the venue available" - it could be hosting a concert or footy game etc. There is a ton of planning involved with an event of this magnitude - it is not done by screaming "BOMB SQUAD" over social media. It is done with meeting, talking, negotiating, understanding, compromising, planning etc. Honestly mate, if you can't see who is acting like a tit here, and who is sensibly attempting to get stuff done - you are just blind to facts. I hope it happens, it's a great fight, but I fear all Wilder's stupidity and stalling will postpone it till 2019, and then it will be even harder to make, with governing bodies coming more into the picture and so on, it may not be for all the belts at that point.

That guy is one of the thickest posters here. He doesn't have one ounce of common sense and hates brits like they stole something from him

It's official AJ has BAR NONE the most delusional fans in the entire sport. The man turns down 50 MILLION DOLLARS and they still find a way to twist it to defend him. Absurd

There is a time and place for trash talk and all that stuff, more so after a fight has been made, it serves to hype up the event for casuals. The problem is that casuals can't read between the lines, and what they take away from some screaming on twitter is what they perceive as facts.

            The facts are.

            1. Asking AJ to sign a $50m 'offer' and openly saying that you have to sign without knowing terms and conditions, location, judges etc....that may be inconsequential to casuals but any boxing follower knows it's ridiculous to expect a fight to be made that way. Fact, plain and simple.

            2. Hearn flew to New York and Wilder's team would not even meet with him. Fact, plain and simple.

            3. Joshua is the A side. More belts, more draw. He decides where he wants it. Fact.

            4. They sent an offer to Wilder, properly formatted and executed. Received Monday. Wilder is 'mulling it over'. This came out today via a respected US newspaper, link below.

So, as most casuals screetch and whine because they react to drama on social media, actual boxing followers and people with some sense can see who has acted professionally and reasonably, and who has been amateurish and difficult. Kudos to the many Americans who have pointed this out too, among the many who have just been a bit dramatic throughout this saga.

Glad it is coming out now. Hopefully Wilder doesn't 'mull' for too long, it's a great fight and a close match up, great for fans.

That paper is lying to protect AJ doe.

Eddie Hearn is a two-bit, small time, little bank promoter - but he controls everything - the media, the sanctioning organisations ... everything!

And the excuses keep coming... If they signed that fight today, and 90,000 tickets went on sale tomorrow, by Sunday noon they'd be sold out.

Hahahahaha...i've stopped responding to these threads/comments. Cuz what's the point? I did read the article though and it seems Wilder's team got the contracts on Monday. Its Wednesday. There's still plenty of time. Stop making excuses for Hearn. Better yet, stop listening to that man. He's all over the place.

How would they even sign a contract without seeing it? Blindfold?
