he clearly wasnt ready, he needed for time, not only that willing to drain yourself was even dumber. i dont think it hurt him too much, but fighters need to realize this, sucking down to fight mayweather isn't worth it! you will get more tired, not nearly as strong, and all for what, a chance to beat floyd? You can be a star upwards, floyd is not a necessity. And that goes for golovkin too, draining yourself is never a good option.
