When did you last have a decent amount of time off work?

I haven't had more than a day since December last year.

I havent had more than a week in about 5 years.

I'm thinking of taking a month off.

In the last 3 years, I've had 4 consecutive days off 1 time. The company is growing and taking on work at a rate that we're just not ready for, unfortunately.

I've missed plenty of events because of it. But I'm sure one they are through with me they'll forget about it all. The only way I get a decent amount of time off is on here.

I take a week off every year to travel. Went to Mexico back in April.

about 2-3yrs ago, i had around 120+ hours of vacation time

This past summer I left the office and took a week off.

Went to HI for my brother's wedding.

i had a noncancerous mass removed from my back about two months ago. 1.5 weeks out of work. zero fun was had, but i was able to file a claim with my insurance company and get paid for the week. i am self employed. i couldn't even sit down (mass was basically on my ass / lower back.) it wasn't a vacation, and i'd rather have worked, rofl. not that anybody cares, but i am back to 100%.

in the spring i took a week off. first full week off in several years. i don't make money when i take vacation (in fact, i lose it,) but a man needs a break.

soon i'm going to take another week off. i'm starting to get seriously burned out. in february i have three days booked in steamboat colorado as well.


take a week, earl. you've earned it.

aren't you in the UK? they mandade like 25-30 vacation days a year, dog, last i checked. you're entitled to that time IIRC. war socialism.

A little over 2 years, I had a few sick days in between but nothing like a week or two off.

I changed jobs now though so realistically I can't possibly ask for any time off much before February.

I am going for two weeks of sunshine fun with the family 5 star for christmas...sorry b1tches, but you need chill time if you are working like a dog, make sure you take time off
