That was years ago when Wilder was green as hell and still hadn't filled out his body. Wilder barely had 2 years of total boxing experience before he joined the pros, his development was way behind because of that reason and he's still getting better. He also gained around 15-20lbs of muscle since then.

Wilder was taking flush shots from Stiverne no problem as well as Arreola whom he toyed with. Arreola being one of the most dangerous fighters Vitali Klitscho has ever fought.

Probably not very well.

Wlad can fucking crack, and one of the more impressive things about Joshua's win to me is performing afterwards after taking a shot like that.

I think their are levels to peoples beards as far as HW's go, but these guys are big, powerful men that if they land flush, shit can go bad in a hurry.
