Do you realize you're agreeing with what he said in the article? Lol he just beat the guy with the best skill set to nullify his right hand. A technically sound, southpaw in Ortiz was currently his worst matchup.

The only other guy with a chance to take away his punch for a fight would be a game Fury, and the athletic qualities of the two don't even make that a certainty. Fury is agile for a man his size, but it'd be interesting to see it contrasted with Wilder's twitchy unorthodox assault. He's hard to time because of the movement. That's a very intriguing scrap.

Wilder v. AJ is a first first come, first serve affair b/c both have massive holes in their defense.

Joshua is dead stiff but he's great at putting combos together and pretty damn good at keeping guys off balance with level changes. But no one can deny that he's there for right hands all fight. VK was throwing incredibly slow shots that were getting home. The tape is kind of startling when you realize how stiff AJ looked.

Deontay is open to any counter from a guy that holds position after Wilder shoots his 1-2, the problem is that's easier to do for a southy than an orthodox fighter. And Wilder is much faster than some seem to realize. He has faster hands and reflexes than any HW he'd meet at the top of the food chain right now. Still those counters are there to be had at any point in a fight with him.

AJ v. Wilder is a true 50/50 scrap. A game Fury v. Wilder is more so a 60/40 scrap. But that's a big if on Fury. He has a ways to go.

A lot of you AJ fans keeps on saying AJ will beat Wilder. Forgeting that AJ always gass out, he is stiff, doesn't move his head, fight with his hands wrapped around his chin and when he tires, bring them down??? He gassed out against Dillian White, Klitschko & Takam and most probably will gass out against Wilder & that will be game over.

Be reminded that AJ is on the verge of defeat... underline my words!

I get what you’re saying and were kinda talking semantics. But anyway..

He says that fight proved no one has the skill to beat him. He doesn’t particularly specify or elaborate.

If he means he has the skill to beat anyone, he doesn’t win with skill so much, more athleticism and power.

If he means he’ll catch every opponent, well he hasn’t has he. He hasn’t caught everyone in every fight. Nearly admittedly, but it’s been shown someone ‘can’ hang with him for 12 rounds.

In reality Ortiz is a top 5 fighter and he was losing to him, and extremely nearly finished by him.

If anything what he’s said is truer of AJ than himself. In 0 matches has AJ’s opponent been able to hang with him for 12 rounds.

I just think Deontay’s trash talk is pretty poor, doesn’t make sense and doesn’t serve himself him very well.

Deontay never got KO by a 10-1 bum in Max Schmeling coming in with seven losses, to help you understand this a little better 10/1 for McGregor over Floyd Mayweather. Respect to Joe Louis for cleaning up that mess, but lets be real Deontay destroys Louis.

I know a lot of people especially old boxing heads feel threatened that their era don't mean much anymore.

Almost getting stopped by a 48 year old sure proves you're the best...

Didn't Joshua get dropped? Did Wilder ever go down? Okay...
