It's happened to me before. It used to lay around the house just for the occasional use, on a piece of bread. Then one day I just took a spoon and couldn't stop. Either I stop myself half way and comeback later to finish it off or eat it all right there. I stopped buying it though.

The local european coffee shop puts a big spoon of Nutella at the bottom before they pour their coffee. I guess they figured out that they can get their costumers to get addicted and keep coming back for more.
