because Khan has speed and height
Speed negates speed. Is it a coincidence that Floyd wants to fight Danny Garcia next? Come on people, dont be blind. If you were in Floyds or Pacquiaos position would you really fight khan?
Pacquiao actually used to spar khan and accordingly to Alex Ariza lost more than he won (atleast when Khan became more experienced), Khan won more rounds but it only took 1 punch for Pacquiao to hurt khan. Which to me sounds accurate, esp with the headgears and big gloves.

When was Khan a legit candidate for the fight? Obviously the cold war nonsense limited the opportunity to fight Pac, but he was really only in line for the Floyd fight at the tail end of 2011. Then he lost to Peterson which ended any hope of that.

If he had a good 2012 he might well have gotten the fight ahead of Guerrero in 2013, as Guerrero was a garbage opponent for Floyd. But he got knocked out by Danny which completely derailed him. He would have been a better pick than Berto too but then anyone would have been. He would have been a better pick than Bradley a third time as well.

But I honestly think it's mostly his own fault. Consider this, he hasn't beaten a top 5 opponent since 2010. Five and a half years ago. Who the fuck is he to complain?

Many believe that Floyd and Pac ducked Khan. Remember, Floyd made a poll and asked fans to vote b/w Maidana and Khan. Khan won the poll, and Floyd still went with the lesser money option in Maidana.

So, if you truly believe that Floyd and Pac did not duck Khan, then why would they leave extra money on the table?

Oscar lined up khan for Floyd twice and both time khan lost.

        Floyd vs Ortiz 9/11
        khan vs Peterson 12/11

Oscar said that mayweather vs khan was next. khan lost a controversial decision.

Floyd fought cotto next instead, with jail pending. khan was rumored to be floyds next opponent if he beat lamont in the rematch.

khan vs Peterson rematch was canceled due to ped use by Peterson.
khan fought danny instead and gktfo.

that was the end of any serious talk about mayweather vs khan.

de la hoya had mayweather waiting on deck for khan twice and both times khan lost.

          timing negates speed.

          ask pacquiao about marquez
          ask mosley about forrest
          ask roy jones about tarver

Yep this is the reality. I think the only time Khan has truly been a legit option is the recent fights. I would have preferred him to Bradley or Berto.

But just look at his record. A guy who doesn't have a win over a top 5 opponent in any division since 2010 can't bitch about being denied a PPV headline.

Khan has spent five years crying about the Mayweather fight instead of going out and putting himself in a position where people would be demanding it. No one else is to blame for him getting knocked out by Danny Garcia.

I'm pretty sure Mayweather and Berto had some personal issues. I wouldn't be surprised if that influenced Mayweather's decision to fight him last instead of Khan.

Lets be honest, even an old Pacquiao and Mayweather are far too much for Khan. They would both demolish him.

What evidence do you have to back this up? I keep hearing about Khan's big following in the UK but the people in the UK say he isn't that big there. He's certainly not big here in the U.S. Here is the "Khan Army" greeting him at the MGM Grand Arrival

You Khan fans are as delusional as he is.

timing is great but you need reaction speed and handspeed to actually execute the punch, hence why Floyd is the best counterpuncher in the sport. He can literally pull/counter someone within a split second, combine that with blinding handspeed and a fighters output will drastically reduce.

Amirs volume and speed causes problems for fast fighters, its far easier to time and counter someone with slow handspeed and low output. Then add that Amir has comparable arm length to floyd which also negates one of Floyd's main advantages.

Tarver and forrest werent slow btw, and they also had a signficant height/arm length advantage over Roy and Shane.

Khan didn't earn it, his resume stunk, from 2010-2015 he fought 11 times, beat only 4 top 10 ranked fighters.
