Again, how many joe gans fights have you seen? A fighter from the 1900s with no fight footage is as good as Duran based off of newspaper reports? I dont think so. What gans win ranks as good as beating a prime leonard at WW?

Why do you keep bringing up a welterweight Leonard when we're talking about lightweight standings?

And as far as Benny Leonard and Duran are concerned, I think Ray Arcel and the International boxing research organization have more credit than an either clear troll or incredibly stupid poster on a boxing forum. I'm betting you don't even know how to compare their resumes because you're stuck talking about a welterweight in a lightweight discussion.

All you need to do is compare their resumes to know that Leonard, Gans and Duran can be interchangable for the number one lightweight spot depending on opinion.

My original post was about Duran being the best fighter to ever step in a boxing ring not just the best LW. So that is why I mentioned Durans best win over leonard at WW you stupid, ugly gremlin.

Ray arcel thought dempsey would have beat ali, so you agree with that too orc features or do you just cherry pick what supports your position?

Your argument is there is not enough footage of Leonard to support him ranking higher at lightweight. I'll go with the opinion of the guy who actually trained both. As far as the Ali Dempsey comparison, you would have to let me see the article and which version of both he is talking about.
