Yea, there's an interesting and disturbing trend forming. The American left, whom are champions of free speech when it benefits them, are using "hate" as an excuse to censor. It doesn't have to actually be hate or oppression though. If you dislike anything relating to someone they'll spin it as hate. YouTube/Google, Twitter, Facebook, etc are actually putting this censorship into practice.

Now, people could argue that those are private interests and reserve the right to censor however they choose. But, do they? There's a strong argument that sites like YouTube are monopolies and are subject to regulation and could therefore not discriminate.

I consider myself socially liberal (financially conservative) and that's why I find all this really disgusting. The people who should be promoting free speech are trying to suffocate it. Freedom isn't about fighting for YOUR interests. It's about the rights of everyone, no matter how awful they are.

You can go around calling people cawk suckers until you're blue in the face. It's pretty great.

              This thread is the titts!

We believe in the idea of free speech but obviously you can't go around being hateful of peoples races or cultures which they have no control of. We are born in our own skin, can't help him, raised in our culture and environments.

They wanna call people ghetto scum but obviously if they were raised in a rural area they would be more educated and have more opportunities. But the bigot message is too damn bad, boo hoo. The privilege is real.

don't be ridiculous, you lost free speech LONG before Trump
