More motivation for him actually, if he He win this fight again then the world is his and money really won't be a issue
In two fights, Andy Ruiz Jr has secured the rest of his life (and likely the life of his first kid too, depending on how he sets things up).

By the big ranch house near home, clear the debts of his folks, get 2 nice cars for him and his wife, and sock away the rest of the money.

Win or lose, he's achieved the dream; if money beyond that is your motivation, you've already lost the fight

Another fail for DAZN. No one but hardcores in the USA are going to tune in at 11am on a damn app. Andy has built up quite a following among the Mexican and Mexican-American community. Las Vegas would have been buzzing, DAZN USA could have gained quite a bit of subscribers.

They are now totally dependent on Canelo to retain and add subscriptions this fall, he has gained even more leverage. Kovalev, Andrade, Callum Smith, then maybe after enough groveling GGG can get his shot in 2021.

Don’t worry about what Hearn’s cut is.

SA is 2hrs ahead of the UK - the UK PPV is going to break all records. I’m predicting between 2.5-4million PPV buys.
where did you get that $90 million figure from earlier?

Matchroom Sport is a plug/play operation, with the mainline exclusive relationship with Sky Sports (though Hearn is seemingly ****ing with that in trying to also get the money from DAZN).

Eddie has the Sky relationship for Box Office, handles the logistics on the venue, handles the promo and marketing materials, secures the international TV markets, deals with the ticket brokers, deals with the commissions, and the rest of the tasks of putting on the event.

Joshua has to do the media availabilities, be comfortable with the cameras in the camp, train for the fight, show up on fight night, and take home 80¢ on the dollar on everything.

Cost of doing business, tbh. As long as Sky Sports is exclusive to Matchroom Sport, making a change now simply wouldn't make sense

Exactly, some people seem to have no idea how business works, you think Joshua wants to get in the promotion business deal with all that drama and end up with less in the end because fast Eddie probably gets a better deal even with their 20% off the top. Joshua is at a level where he has the power not get screwed and not deal with the logistics.
