Not sure, I rented the first one at Blockbuster in the '90s, so probably the second one. I remember seeing the third one on TV around the same time and it had that midget wrestler The Haiti Kid, who was in Wrestlemania 3 in that midget match with Hillbilly Jim and King Kong Bundy. Kind of crazy Bundy went from the main event at Wrestlemania 2 to a comedy match a quarter of the way into the card at next year's Wrestlemania.

50 ?!?!?!? Are there even that many made ????

            Nah

            Maybe 5 good boxing movies....

            Rocky I
            Raging Bull
            Rocky II
(Rocky then went on the same convoluted trajectory as Rambo)
            The Champ

              - -Rocky 1-7 or is it 1-8 now?

Great underrated comedy franchise for late night beer fueled guffaws.

Which version of The Champ? The original or the remake with Jon Voight?

Me too man. Supposedly Jackie Cooper's co-star didn't like kids when they made the original.

I love boxing, and most sports, but I find movies about them to be corny and littered with clichés.
