Wilder definitely still has Fury on the menu.
Of course he will explore possibly trying to make the Joshua fight- so will Fury to be honest.
If either Wilder or Fury fight AJ next, it isn't avoiding the rematch, it's just business and they both realize it and are fine with it.
But, it's just not accurate to think Wilder is completely dismissing an immediate rematch:
It has gotten to a point where Wilder’s team would prefer he fight Fury again and first. Co-managers Shelly Finkel and Jay Deas, who doubles as Wilder’s trainer, want the rematch because they believe Wilder will be better next time. He’ll have learned from his mistakes — being overly anxious, forcing his punches and going only for the knockout.
The 32-year-old who has been boxing as a professional for a decade now said he reacted that way because he wanted to win so badly and wanted to get that much closer to being the one and only heavyweight champion.
Guess that means some of y'all posting about Wilder not wanting a rematch right away are delusional.
Let's get things straight.
For Wilder, the only thing bigger than a rematch with Fury in Vegas is a fight with AJ in Vegas...a UK fight with AJ is still going to do less American PPV than if it is stateside, while the Fury rematch is just as big here now.

Y'all need to understand that Fury is much more attractive to Wilder and his team in so many ways.
If there are any folks who need to hear it directly:
