Mares has taken tough fight after tough fight and made them exciting. Look at Donaire's fight between Darchinyan and Montiel. Then between Montiel and Nishioka. He's #5 P4P cause he KOed 2 dudes while doing **** in between.

Thanks for stopping by and dropping another one of your gems that has nothing to do with this thread. Now carry on to your Garcia threads.

Add another name for NoRigo Ducknaire to keep avoiding.

Let me simplify it for you. Rigo...is a newbee. Still wet behind his ears. Donaire has been here. And hes the Champ. Everyone wants him! Wants his spot. HEs fighting the fighters who deserve the shots and has proved themselves worthy. 11 and 0 isnt a WOW factor. Hope you now understand the Principles of Boxing!

Mares and Donaire and now officially the 2 Top guys at 122.
Who has Mares beat at 122? His title was against Morel a 118 and now this fight against another 118. He is good but he has no 122 fighter in his resume.

He is a Top 10 P4P and he should be in the next lists.

It's not only who, it's when you beat them. Vic was an undefeated champ when Donaire knocked him silly, and generally a terror at 112, 115. Vic left 118 with 0 belts and a losing record. His only real close loss there was against Mares, in yet another foulfest, with Vic mostly on the receiving end!
