Well, the police are supposed to gaf about whats required.
Thats how they do their jobs.
You thought they just roll around making up **** as they go along?
Goodness sakes man this is dumb.
whatever, bruh.
all i know is this dumb fnck will never spend 1 longer second in the presence of police than i have to. i havent injured myself carrying it around and it comes in handy if a restaurant/store needs it when i pay by cc. YOU NEVER KNOW !
go on and have the last rebellious, ''caint no copper outsmarts me and my pride.'' word

Hold up, you need ID when you pay something by CC?
There are thousands of incidents where police officers and suspect never have issue, just yesterday when i was in riverside, i saw a black man pulled over coming off the freeway while i was eating at in and out, the black guy was driving a Lexus, dressed in office wear and coming home from work, he was well spoken and mannered, no issue, the cop actually didnt give him a ticket he just told him he needed to check if his head lights worked, the guy forgot to turn them on, when they worked he didnt give him a ticket, they had some small talk for five minutes and were laughing loud i think they were talking about the lakers, and they shook hands and went on there way.
The best way to handle these situations is the golden rule be polite, smile, and obey, simple, its easy to avoid confrontation dont fight argue or act guilty and don't tell them how to do their job, thats what i do knowing how trigger happy cops can be, so i used my brain to avoid it
Make life hard for them, they make it hard for you.
That's not abuse of power.
Cops have alot of flexability. They can nit-pick and write you up for every dinky violation, or they can give warnings and let you be on your way. Your attitude can be the deciding factor.
Try again.
Fyi, the last two times I've been stopped for minor violations, including once in the street rod, I've walked away with verbal warnings. Take a guess if I was polite and said Sir alot, or if i was a jerk....
So it’s ok for state approved violation of the forth amendment( stop and frisk) and when said recipient of said violation is not giving up his ID( which is protected by the forth amendment) and then is guided by an officer of the state into breaking the law (which is entrapment) you blame the citizen?
Stop and frisk is not a violation of the 4th Amendment. If it was, the idiot in the video would have a lawyer licking his chops counting the money that's coming his and his client's way. The incident is on video for all to see ya know.
Second, the cop never directed him to break the law. He turned him loose and then the idiot broke the jaywalking law on his own volition.
The cop popped him and thus won the game of Gothcha!
That happens. The cop has the badge and gun. Messing with them is stupid, as this guy hopefully learned.
In short
I’d rather be a democratic socialist than a Authoritarian socialist like your side.
I'm not an authoritarian socialist.
Please ask me about my beliefs before labelling me.
Btw, when I said "your side" it was in no way describing political philosophy. I was saying your side in that y'all are the side saying this guy was treated wrong. I'm on the side saying he was not mistreated or his rights violated.
I forget 99% of people on here are lames with 0 street smarts.
That's why they were able to be duped by a fast talking New York con man.
I have more street smarts than you or the guy on video, as I don't pop off to cops and end up in jail over it.
Keep being argumentative. Keep playing Gotcha! Keep that chip on your shoulder and that race card handy.
But don't whine and complain when you end up jailed over minor things.
Me, I hold my tongue and swallow my pride when dealing with cops. Im also very respectful. And I've not gotten a ticket in quite a few years, and ain't been to jail in like 20 years.
