So much biased against a young, hungry contender who wants to fight the best. There's no way these guys are legit boxing fans.

Go watch the fight again. Thurman (not a bum, by the way) didn't get "sparked" at all. Diaz was eating bodyshots, uppercuts, and got dropped. He was also taking so many shots to the head in the 3rd round. You call that a "high note"? lol

Thirdly OP was simply stating facts, with his hands down Defense and wild shots he's food, lets not try to be slick and move the goalpost slightly to benefit Keith, how about this fraud faces one top 15 WW before he theoretically is beating HOF.................
You'd think that someone who's hands are too low would have already been beaten by now and yet he still hasn't. Looks like you and the OP are underestimating his defense and power.

And yes, Marquez is a counterpuncher. Don't try to change that.

Thurman doesn't even trust himself vs a Cotton candy fighter in Alexander who withers at the first sign of moisture, thats really all you need to know about Thurman..............
That's only if he doubts himself against Alexander.

    Oh wait, he hasn't.

How would you even know if Thurman has trouble with boxers? And how would you even know if Brook can take Thurman's shots? Come on, people.

That wide stance with those looping ass punches with his hands to his waist will be his downfall.

If Soto Karass made him do the Booty Dew you can only imagine what a Matthysse left hook or GARSH would do to him.

I see |Thurman as the most susceptible of all the ''elite'' fighters out there to falling victim to the GARSH.

Embarrassing KO waiting to happen .
I think the guy shows promise and would like to see him in with any top ten guy.
khan, Porter Guererro,Maidona, Brooks, Bradley, Alexander...it's time.

And people say Thurman is overhyped? lol
FInd me one video of the phantom body shot vs Diaz which caused the injury, I'll wait......................

Diaz buzzed Thurman quit, and retired from the sport with 2 middle fingers in the air......That was a blown up c class LW that had a former JMW and so called boogeyman ice skating without skates; is anybody with knowledge of the sport supposed to believe he's the future...................The book is already written on Thurman hype job azz

For a "phantom bodyshot", that sure is visible, wouldn't you agree?

Thurman was never "buzzed" in that fight. Diaz barely even landed any clean hits but none of them had Thurman in trouble. You need to watch the fight again.

If Thurman is such a hypejob, then tell these "big name" boxers to prove it.

You ever seen anyone get hit on the belt, get their rib, broke, and proceed to lunge forward throwing 4-5 punches just stop..........................

Diaz never said his rib was broken, just that he had a rib injury...and lets not forget, this guy went the distance with Khan and Porter (recently).
