American based fighters are reluctant to give people like Kell Brook a chance, because it's high risk, low reward. Hardly anyone over there knows who brook is, so they don't want a loss. It was the same with Calzaghe. No one like Hopkins or Roy Jones would fight him when he and they were in their primes, both Roy Jones and Hopkins waited till they had nothing to loose. It's the same with Brook. I look at this Brook vs Porter fight similar to Calzaghe vs Jeff Lacy. Everyone in the USA thought Lacy was going to come here and destroy Calzaghe, but Lacy came here and got his ears boxed off. Porter is like a Welterweight Jeff Lacy in my eyes, I think Brook stops him. No doubt brook will be the strongest, hardest hitting fighter Porter has faced by a long way. Porter might hit hard, but can he hold a real shot from a big welterweight?
