Well he was highly rated before he beat Jacobs and nelo.
So his wins over them confirms class

      excuse after excuse
Yeah, cuz GGG has a crystal ball and he knew back in 2015 that Canelo was going to beat Cotto then ask for a voluntary before fighting him .. then stall for 6 months before giving up the WBC MW title and going back down to 154 .. then offer to fight him in a years time ...

Geale not really being able to punch did him in, but Rosado, Geale, Brook, Jacobs, and Canelo all provided windows into what Golovkin reverts when put in with someone who can actually fight; eat punches with his face, march forward, and try to get busy with a jab while he hopes that you set your feet for him to fire.

There are too many things that Golovkin doesn't do to earnestly rate him much higher than a B.
If you rate him a B fighter . . . it demonstrates you really do not know boxing or you cannot separate your emotion from reason.

You do not accomplish what he has in boxing as a B level fighter. He is A level, among the best in the sport. The question isn't is he good, it is how good.

You came with that sht in front of boxing people you would be laughed right off the stage.

Ggg is not as good as his diehard slurper fans post he is and he isn’t as bad as his most ardent haters post he is.

He’s a B+/A- level fighter who will almost surely make the HOF, possibly 1st ballot.

He is beneath the elite MW-Roy, Robinson, Hopkins, monzon. I’d have him ahead of guys like Barkley and other really good fighters.

Best MW right now, a future HOF boxer, and a class act.

As for resume he was very avoided and fought the best middleweights who would fight him and knocked almost all of them out. He has no losses and 1 draw that most viewers think should have been a win for him.
Golovkin is a pressure fighter, and pressure fighters are usually well over the hill by 32/33. The fact that GGG - a clean pressure fighter - is still undefeated and rated as the best MW in the world at the age of 36 should say everything that needs to be said about how good he is. In his prime GGG was one of the best MWs ever, imo.

The best MW of his era, but the era was fairly week. Let's be fair though, he is past prime and Canelo still needed a gift to get a draw.

He is elite and we probably never got to see him in his physical prime v good opposition. He was badly avoided for a long time.

Andre Ward fought Paul Smith, was 172lbs with 3 weeks to that fight, and then went on national TV, called Golovkin out of his name/moniker, and told the world that he wanted that smoke.

Golovkin, after talking all that **** about "anyone 154-168", tried to hide behind "let's fight at 164lbs instead", and has seen the world spit on his name from that moment on. Lol
Which world is that? The flat one? The one that rides on the back of a gigantic cosmic elephant?

Class him as one of the bros, I could easily see us partying together in Amsterdam sniffing a bit of bolivion off of a fine women's teat. Big drama show, it's easy for us.
