The criminal justice system is biased against the very poor and those that do not have relationships with judges or prosecutors. The poor are disproportionately black in the USA. Prosecutors and judges are mostly upper middle class/middle class and white.

Every so often you get a situation like OJ where the defendant has money and can afford the attorneys that have relationships with judges and prosecutors.

Yes, I agree with what you said 100%, the system absolutely favors the impoverished, but would even OJ find himself in court if he never committed or let me rephrase, was "suspected" of committing a crime?

The numbers on the left are the percentages of foreign born immigrants.
The number on the right pertain to their citizenship status.

This is generally true and very simple for white people.

But it's not true for people like 16 year old Kalief Browder, who broke no law and who was falsely accused of stealing a backpack, charged with robbery, grand larceny, and assault, was given a chance to leave Riker's after 16 months if he admitted to two misdemeanors (which he refused because he was innocent) and was held at Riker's for 3 years. When he came out he committed suicide due to the mental scarring he had been through, and he was quoted as saying he feels he was robbed of his happiness.

All of this could have been avoided if only he just was not a black kid. That is the sad truth, and the only truth. He was held at Riker's for 3 years for being a black kid.

The American Criminal Justice system failed this kid, who btw had no priors and was a smart kid and a tutor for other kids in community college. They failed him because he was black, and that's a shame.

Ok so
Sweden 16.0% -Half of the foreigners in Sweden are Europeans, IE from Finland, Poland.

Most of these (64%) were from European Union or EFTA countries. United Kingdom 12.3% - U.K has a tad bit more NON European immigrants than the others, but not by much, 88% of their population is still European.


Compare that with the USA which has a European population of only around 65%.
