Sent a very self rightious text, and it felt awesome, its like I stuck up for myself

when for long time ive been a door mat, it just felt great, (kinda like this, except I was butters sticking up to my own parents)



I want to know how to stop being a door mat and how to be more self righteous?

Any advice?

I think ive been emotionally manipulated all my life, by my parents.

I went to college at 17, my parents were too poor to pay, but I had a scholarship. Been on my own for 30 years. I bought my parents a home years ago. Nobody tells me what to do. Except my bosses in NY & London, but they pay me.

I don't understand the younger generation????? Move out on your own, teach them a lesson. Show them that you don't need crap from them, and won't accept help!!! As a real man, you feel insulted to be told anything at all.. After all, you are a real man, and are independent of Mom & Dad!!!!


Teach them that they can't make you keep living at home, break free.
