what is the best running shoe for roadwork?

I saw a programme on the telly about how the japanese (Asics) are completely leading the way in running shoe technology. I don't have the link to the show but if you watched it you wouldn't consider buying anything else I'm sure. All the other companies are just copying their ideas. I bought a good pair of Asics runners shortly after and they've been amazing!

Give em a try - I dont think you'll go far wrong.

ive heard brooks makes a incredible running shoe but what is the best one for roadwork as far as comfort and iendurance. im haing problems with my lower back and shins so what shoe should i get. im also flatfooted also help please.

Asics! Only downside is most are ugly as F!

Nike running shoes look great but they don't last. Nike Cross trainers are really good for roadwork though, just a lil heavy but much sturdier than Nike Running shoes.
