Does "Canelo" lack elite power?

You don't need serious KO power to be qualified to fight along with the elites.
Examples:
1. Floyd
2. Manny he is more of a volume puncher.
3. Marquez
4. Soto
5. Amir Khan though could be wrong with this guy lately he has improved in terms of power.

Canelo has good power, he might not be a one punch KO artist but he has good solid power. And yes people can improve their punching power, guys like Hosumi Hasegawa and Nathan Cleverley weren't known as punchers early in their careers... Canelo is only 20 and can improve his power, but even if he doesn't he is still gonna be great. Anyone who says he lacks power is an idiot, simple as that.

You people are so dumb. Just because he doesn't have Felix Trinidad or Julian Jackson power doesn't mean it isn't good enough to be an elite fighter

For those who know anything about the body he is still going through puberty, it stops about early twenties to mid twenties so he will gain some more weight and power over the next few years naturally. He may even have to move up a division if he struggling to mae weight.
